Transformers 3 toys. There is no arguing that the vehicle mode rocks. I want you to know that I don’t just judge Transformers figures on the way that they look. Some people may think it looks a little too cheap. Looks can be deceiving. This is a great Transformer.
However, it is the weapon that really sets it apart from the other toys in the series. I think that Hasbro in general is trying to do too much with MechTech weapons. The weapons are a little too crazy. Some of the weapon we have seen on other MechTech toys are guns that turn into claws or hooks. We have even seen some toys with guns that turn into bigger guns. While the weapons look cool by themselves they really don’t fit in with the Transformers universe. This is probably the only toy that we have seen that has a weapon that makes sense. They finally got the weapon right. The blade of the MechTech weapon deploys and retracts. What I like most is that it doesn’t change the look of the gun.
While I thought the paint job was decent, it is a bit boring. The color is just plain white. I may take the liberty later on to paint it to make it a little less boring. However, don’t get me wrong both the vehicle and robot mode looking pretty sweet. It’s not that difficult to transform it. I do have a few small complaints about.
There are a few little details that Hasbro has missed out on. I mostly talking about the detail on his chest. If you don’t buy it at full retail price maybe you will be able to find this on clearance sometime in the near future.
